Griffin provides support to Members in the handling of errors and omissions and in seeking to minimise the incidence of future exposure.
Members who have a concern that a matter may have the potential to give rise to a liability are encouraged to contact Griffin at the earliest opportunity. Early intervention and guidance from the outset are seen as key.
A liability advice service is provided to Members on a wide range of legal and procedural matters which may not amount to a notification, but in respect of which problems could arise if not handled properly.
At the centre of Griffin is an active programme of risk management which encourages and assists Members to control the level of risk faced by their business. The implementation of sound and prudent management procedures developed with the benefit of the experience of the membership as a whole enables Griffin to help identify potential risk areas, and to recommend measures to ensure their effective management and control.
